Bad Word Bad Word Bad Word Bad Word

‘Tis not long before school starts,

The panic sets in,

All my mind does is brain-farts, (such an ugly word don’t you think?)

Oh where is that gin?

Mommy.

Live long and prosper \V/

Yours sincerely,

The Mostly Confused Teenager.

PS: I know my poem sucked, you don’t have to tell me.

  1. Nice reading about you

Thanks for visiting my blog. Be in touch. Browse through the category sections, I feel you may find something of your interest.

    • Well… look at the third lyric… It ruined it all. I don’t know… Maybe she should rewrite this poem, because right now… Ugh! Don’t get me wrong,I know you(ConfusedTeen) will take this bad,but I advise you to rewrite the poem and repost it… Or edit this one. Just… Delete the third lyric. Pretty please?

      • Don’t worry, I’m not taking it bad at all, I do know that it sucks! I wrote this at 1 am last night (the night before school started) when I was tossing and turning in bed. I wasn’t exactly thinking clearly or coherently! I’m not going to change it because I do believe that it reflects the person that I was at that moment; confused, tired, juvenile. However were I to rewrite it changing only the third line it might go somthing like this:
‘Tis not long before school starts,
        The panic sets in,
        So many beating hearts,
        Oh where is that gin?
        Mommy.
(–> quick explanation; I get very flustered if there are too many people around, such as on the first day of school, thus the whole panicking and alcohol reference)

  2. I beleive your thoughts or emotions that you write don’t have to “make sense”. Beleive In Yourself and take any undesirable comment with a grain of salt. Isn’t this what writing is all about. : )
