HA! So you want to know more about moi? What to say, where to start… Oh right, this isn’t a novel, only the ‘about’ section. Um, I’m a proud member of the Class of 2019 at Tufts University in Boston, with big plans to become a doctor, but I originally hail from Paris, France. I laugh more than I should, at bad jokes, awful insults, and have been known to giggle in awkward situations. I’m a huge sports fan, mostly of baseball (New York Mets) and American Football (New England Patriots) –> please, don’t hate me for my sports choices; I blame my dad, you can too.Β Also, I’m known to have a permanent dazed and confused look on my face. Ta-daa, you know me. Sort of. Not really. Enough to fill the purpose of this section.

A Patriots fan? Super! The professor hasn’t found one in the whole blogosphere! Go Brady!!
Ma foi! This professor always wanted to be a doctor!
Absolutely! Brady is awesome, and I’m glad to have found another Pats fan!!
Ah yes, but seeing your blog, you turned out to be quite a marvelous person, and we can call you the professor instead of the doctor, which somehow seems much more fitting π
Yes, yes!!! We shall root together this season!
Thank you. The professor does seem more fitting. And I must say, I’m the most professorish professor alive.
Love your blog! π
Thanks so much! I love yours too, and this confused teenager could certainly use some pointers on beauty, hair and fashion! π
Hahaha, i’ve been thinking of doing a back to school series but i’m not sure whether people would like that..
Aww, thanks! π
Paris, c sympa, non? π merci pour le commentaire sur mon blog π
A+,
Chris
Sympa, sans plus (pour moi en tout cas)! I prefer the countryside, France none the less!
A bientot,
The Mostly Confused Teenager.
Thank you for following Contrafactual.com
I hope you will find it interesting …
Patriots/Mets–Good choices.
WELL I don’t know how I never answered this comment, but you must be the first person I’ve ever met (well, um, internet met) that thinks that! When I visited Colgate this fall break, the dean of admissions was surprised that 1) I was a Mets fan and 2) I was willing to admit it! NYU went straight to the source and said frankly that they sold very cheap Yankees tickets, and just gave away Mets ones x)
Colgate/nyu–good schools. And the mets are awesssome. I want in on any free mets tkts!!!!
Me tooooo!! Are you looking at any schools that would give them away?
Going to be a freshman at Northwestern next year so…Cubs tkts?
CONGRATS!!! I’m looking into Northwestern actually, it seems like a great school! I would be a year behind you I guess!
As long as you don’t sell out for the Cubbies.. π
No promises
Don’t do it. Stay strong! The Mets deserve your fandom (just go with it)
(ok) As long as David is in a Mets jersey…
David will ALWAYS be in a Mets jersey
Bobby Bonilla style?
Bobby Bonilla style.
Wow, you live in Paris? That’s amazing! I want to know your blogging secrets! I’ve been blogging for a while but you seem to have a great knack at attracting viewers! I mean, your content is really interesting and you’re a great writer, but it’s so great and intriguing how you have such a big following and get so many likes on all of your posts! x
I honestly don’t know what I’ve been doing to attract people! When I started this blog I never expected anyone to read the thoughts of a simple 15 year old living in France. Thanks for saying that I’m a great writer, I really appreciate it π the ideas for my posts just pop into my head and I think, oooh I could blog about that! I’m just really happy and grateful that people like my stuff!
Well keep it up, you’re doing great! π
You.. Missy, are seriously, utterly, completely and TOTALLY talented!!!! How can you write so well??!!!! You rule, girl!
I just read like two posts…and I’m completely in love with your blog!!! I so have to come back to read the other posts!!! π
And YOUR comment just made MY day π Thanks so much!! You write really well too you know! I’ll be stalking your blog, you’ll be stalking mine xD

Your Friend,

Hey your from Paris? That’s awesome! I’ve always wondered do you ever actually say Ah, la vache when you’re surprised? And does it really mean Oh, the cow?
Yours truly,
WintersMischief
Yeah sometimes, although it’s mostly to my detriment actually! An yup, it does mean oh the cow, oddly enough! On the other hand I do say ‘holy cow on a cracker’ so who knows π I guess that when I get surprised in French I tend to swear.. um.. profusely.
Bonjour, CT. My name is Cee and I’m also a junior. I was supposed to come to Paris to study as an exchange student this year, but some bad things happened to me at the end of last year, so that’s all off, at least for this year. Anyway, I’m glad I found your blog and plan to peek in regularly. π
Bon après-midi !
Bonjour Cee π You sound like an amazeballs person and I personally have NO DOUBT that you’ll be on your way to France soon enough! And when that happens I only hope Paris can live up to your expectations π
I spent the summer there a few years ago and had an awesome time, but it’s not the same as going to school there for a year. I was really looking forward to that. But things happen. Maybe I’ll still get to go next year, or for college.
I’ll be rooting for you to come next year!

Great idea π and thank you very much again for your answers π
I also had the problem that I was awarded twice and I don’t follow 20 deserving AND less than 200 followers blogs so I decided to answer 20 questions and nominate 10 bloggers π

*SQUEAL* THANK YOU! π
I like your use of the word “muddled” in your title banner…it’s a term I often refer to in my writings, as EM Forster used it to describe the feelings of disconnection with others – in their relationships. All the best.
Wow another comment that I missed! Hum CT, you’re going to have to get your eyes checked. Anyways, thank you, I thought it conveyed how I view the world as a mostly confused teenager!
Frankly, this is ridiculous. Hardly 2 months and your blog gets this much attention? I’m sorry but HOW???? My blog is about the same age as yours and it’s gaining followers about as quickly as a snail. π¦
I’m not sure honestly, it’s been sort of a roller coaster for me x) but I visited your blog and it’s just amazingly awesome so take courage π

Thank you so much! All the best xx
Nice to learn a little more about you. I don’t feel anyone laughs more than they “should” – to me laughter is the best gift. Good luck on becoming a doctor. I’m in my sunset years as a medical provider in the U.S. Paulette
so glad to read you are still mesmerized by a sparkling Eiffel Tower ! I Certainly hope world wearyness will never come to your door ! Happened on your blog by accident . You seem to be a fellow Parisian and it’s wonderful thinking that we cross paths out in real life without knowing it! Look forward to reading your continuing messages in a bottle as it were !
Jenny, I can’t get any info on you (not that, um, I’m a french teenage stalker girl), are you from Paris or do you live here? I’m so glad you like my blog, I have to pick it back up again now that the school rush is over!

MDR! Q29, mon mec? Ah, ca va bien ici. I enjoyed my visit here. Continue sharing your thoughts!
Sincerely,
The guy who lives in Connecticut
(some weird state next to New York)
Ah, un bilingue! How did you become passionate about French? Were you amazingly influenced by our politics and pop music? (to be clear, the last sentence was sarcasm; I have no great estime for french politics and/or music).
Connecticut? How do I know which way is Connecticut? Sorry ’bout that, just watched Holiday Inn π
Haha, I LOVE foreign languages, especially French! I actually wrote a blog article about my journey of Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Arabic studies throughout my teen years. I studied French “a la fac” haha, I find that word so amusing … “GO FAC YOURSELF!” Maybe that could mean, go educate yourself? Pardon my language. Other than cuisine, culture, and language, I am definitely intrigued to go back to Europe some time in my life. My passport has Espana, Amsterdam, and Canada doesn’t bother to stamp. Mais, j’adore pourtine! Ah, French politics. Merde … Obama vs. Sarkozy, neither is any better! mdr. Hm, CT … as in … NY / CT / Rhode Island lol we’re the cream filling of the NY and RI oreo π but other than that … I love French cinema, femme fatale et film noir, the new wave … don’t even ask how many times I’ve watched Amelie π
Spelling error for typing too fast – POUtine. Ooops.

Hey there! I really love your blog, so I’ve nominated you for a Liebster award π the rules for this can be found on my blog http://naaaomiholt.wordpress.com
Aww why you’re too sweet, thank you so much! π
Such a charming “About Me” page! Very happy to have found your blog π
And I’m happy that you found mine so I could discover yours! You ARE funny!
I can overlook you being a Mets and Pats fan. It could always be MUCH worse. At least you’re not a long-suffering Dallas Cowboys or an overbearing NYY fan … lol. I’m hoping my Giants will have a much better effort come football season because last year was painful to watch, but I suppose we were way overdue for a craptastic record.
I hate the Yankees with all my guts and can only feel pathetically sorry for the Cowboys, so no worries there π I’ve always liked the Giants, and it did pain me a certain amount to see them go 0-6 last year, but I suppose it was karma for beating us in the Superbowl!
LOL … actually, two Super Bowls. π We definitely have the Pats’ number when it counts most.
I’m with you about hating the Yanks. And one of my favorite pastimes is ragging on Dallas fans … lol. I HATE the Cowboys.
Wauw I love your writing, you are very talented and funny. Looking forward to reading more from you π
Why thank you, that’s so nice! Where/how did you learn to speak English so well? You can’t tell that you’re Scandinavian at all!
Thank you, really that means a lot to me π I have always been pretty good at it, but I think some of it comes from binge watching FRIENDS when I was younger and watching TV-shows online without subtitles, I think it taught me a lot π
Ah, Friends, gotcha π Well whatever you’re doing, it’s working!
What a quirky, funny blog. Keep it up!
And can I just say how impressed/jealous I am of you living in France!
Thanks for following my blog π
Thank you so much!
Howdy! I’ve nominated you for a Liebster award — your blog is fab π Here the link to my post: http://theteenvernacular.wordpress.com/2014/09/17/lieby-lieb-liebster-award/
